Why HEXCOR
Your heart is in your chest, not your wrist. HEXCOR is a health tracking necklace: a titanium pendant that rests on your breastbone, right in front of your heart, with no strap to tighten and nothing on your arm.
The breastbone sits a few centimetres in front of your heart, with a thin layer of skin over flat bone. It gives the sensors a steady seat that does not twist like a wrist.
A light sensor on the back reads your pulse in the skin. The polished pad on the front reads your heartbeat's electrical signal when you touch it. Having both in the same place makes new measurements possible.
Your chest moves each time you breathe, and the pendant moves with it. A built-in motion sensor rides along, which opens the door to breathing, posture and lifting features.
Grade 2 titanium with a laser-knurled face, two finishes and name engraving planned. Waterproof by design, so it never has to come off. It looks like something you chose to wear, because you did.

The object
A titanium hexagon about the size of a large coin. The knurled border catches the light. The polished centre is a touch pad. Behind it, the sensors rest against your chest.
Real data, not an animation
On 3 November 2026 the HEXCOR prototype read the founder's heart through two dry metal contacts. No gel, no sticky pads. The trace below is built from that recording: his real average beat, played back with his real beat-to-beat timing.
A moving trace of a heartbeat recorded by the HEXCOR prototype, at about 77 beats per minute.
Desk prototype, chest and hand contacts, 3 November 2026. Shown to illustrate the technology. Not a medical reading and not a measure of how the finished product will perform.
What it tracks
HEXCOR is built for fitness and wellness. One pendant, everything you want to know about your body and your day.
A light sensor on the back reads your pulse through the skin over your breastbone.
Rest a finger on the polished centre pad to see the electrical signal of your heartbeat on your phone.
The small changes in time between beats, a popular way to follow recovery and stress trends.
Your chest rises and falls under the pendant. HEXCOR is being taught to count breaths.
A motion sensor rides with your chest. Rep counting and lifting insights are in development.
Made to be worn all night. Resting heart rate and sleep trends are on the roadmap.
The app
Steps, calories, sleep and recovery, all from one pendant. Here is everything the HEXCOR app is being built to show.
HEXCOR is in development. Calories, recovery, stress, sleep and fitness scores will be estimates for general fitness and wellness, not medical measurements.
Private by design
Many wearables send every heartbeat to company servers. HEXCOR is being built the other way around: your health data stays on your own devices, and we never collect it.
Readings travel from the pendant straight to your phone and are worked out there. No HEXCOR cloud in the middle.
Pair the pendant and go. No sign-up, no profile, no email required to see your own heart.
No ads, no data brokers, no selling or renting your data. Ever.
Export every raw reading or delete it all, any time, from the app.
Syncing with other health apps, sending a heartbeat or showing a doctor only happens when you turn it on.
If HEXCOR ever runs studies, taking part will be your choice, asked for clearly and never switched on by default.
Why the chest
The breastbone sits just a few centimetres from your heart, with a thin layer of skin over flat bone.
Keep your watch, your bracelet or nothing at all. Lift, type and sleep without a band.
Shower, sweat and swim in it. Waterproof is a must-have: HEXCOR will not ship until it passes water testing. Titanium is light and strong, so you can wear it at the gym, at work and in bed.
The concept film
A short film showing the idea. It was made with AI video tools, so the person is not real and the pendant is a render. The finished product may look different.
Where it could go
Inside the prototype are a light sensor, an electrical heart sensor, a motion sensor, a microphone and Bluetooth. That is a lot of hardware for one small hexagon. Here are the ideas we are exploring for the years ahead.
Where we are headed. These features are in research and development, and details may change along the way. None of them are medical features today.
Time how long each beat takes to travel from your heart's electrical signal to the pulse in your skin. Having both sensors in one spot is what makes it possible.
Guided breathing on your phone that follows your real chest movement, so you can watch each breath and your heart rate settle together.
Rep counts and tempo from the motion of your chest, and rest timers that tell you when your heart rate has come back down.
The pendant knows which way your chest is facing. A gentle reminder on your phone after an hour hunched over a desk.
Send your live heartbeat to someone you love and see theirs on your phone, from across the room or across the country.
Resting heart rate, breathing rhythm and how still you slept, from a pendant with no band to take off at bedtime.
Resting heart rate, HRV and breathing all have a normal for you. A nudge when they drift from it, like the days before you feel run down, so you can rest sooner.
Export the raw signals, sync with the health apps on your phone, and an open interface for developers and tinkerers.
The long game
Today HEXCOR is a fitness and wellness product, and that is all we claim. Long term, we want to go further: work with doctors and researchers, run proper clinical studies, and apply to Health Canada to license health features that could help people catch changes in their health earlier.
That path takes years of testing and review. No feature will be offered or described as medical unless and until it has been studied and licensed.
Questions
HEXCOR is a wearable health tracker you wear as a titanium pendant necklace. It sits over your breastbone and is being built to track heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), sleep, recovery, breathing, steps and calories, with no wristband or chest strap. It is in development in Ottawa, Canada.
Where it sits and how it is worn. A smartwatch and a ring sit on your hand. A chest strap sits over your heart but has to be tightened around your ribs. HEXCOR sits over your heart too, but it simply hangs from your neck as a titanium pendant.
It also puts two kinds of heart sensors in one spot: light for your pulse, and a touch pad for your heartbeat's electrical signal.
No. HEXCOR is being designed as a fitness and wellness product. It is not a medical device and it is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any disease or condition. It has not been reviewed or licensed by Health Canada.
Long term, we hope to run clinical studies and apply for Health Canada licensing for some health features. Until a feature is studied and licensed, it will not be offered or marketed as medical.

There is no release date yet. HEXCOR is a working prototype, and it is not for sale. People who leave their email will hear first when there is news.
The price is not set. In the poll, you can tell us what you would expect to pay. It really helps.
No. The poll is anonymous and takes one tap. Leaving your email for updates is optional and free, and it does not commit you to buy anything.
HEXCOR connects to your phone over Bluetooth. The app is in development. Phone support will be confirmed before launch.
It stays yours. The HEXCOR app is being built so your readings stay on your own phone. We do not collect your health data, there is no account to create, and nothing is ever sold or used for ads. You can export or delete everything at any time, and anything you share is your choice.
A full privacy policy for the product and app will be published before anything goes on sale.
This website collects no health data at all. See the privacy policy.
That is a hard rule. HEXCOR is being designed to be fully waterproof, so you can shower, sweat and swim in it, and it will not ship until it passes water testing.
The prototype has not been water tested yet. We will share the real results here and by email, good or bad.
Hex for the shape, cor for heart. A hexagon is one of the strongest, most efficient shapes in nature, and it fits the sensors neatly.
